Please join the Foundation for Eden Prairie Schools (FEPS) on Saturday, February 22, 2020 for its inaugural Red & Black Gala at Hazeltine National Golf Club. Doors open at 6 p.m. for a silent auction with refreshments, followed by a plated dinner, remarks from special honorees, and a keynote address by the Spielman family.
This fun-filled evening will serve as our signature fundraiser for the year. Dollars raised reach Eden Prairie students of all ages and allow us to fill backpacks with essential school supplies, inspire each first grader with a storybook to call their very own, provide STEM tools to enhance 21st century learning, and provide social and emotional support for students in need.
The three-course menu has been specially selected for this gala and will be prepared by Hazeltine’s new Executive Chef Michael Patton, whose cuisine has been served at some of the nation’s best restaurants, as well as at The White House.
Slow braised beef short ribs served with roasted garlic whipped potatoes, seasonal vegetable, and red wine braising jus
Cedar plank salmon served with mashed Yukon potatoes, sautéed asparagus, and beurre blanc
Lentils served with roasted root vegetables, coconut curry, and brown rice
Each meal includes:
Arugula salad served with beets, local goat cheese, pickled fennel, and balsamic vinaigrette
Flourless chocolate torte served with Grand Marnier whipped cream and raspberries
This year’s online silent auction will boast more than 100 items, including a hot air balloon ride, dinner cruise on Lake Minnetonka, a cabin getaway, and much, much more! The silent auction is open for bidding February 15 at 8 a.m. through February 23 at 10 p.m. New items are being added daily and can be viewed anytime, so check back often.
