Conn McCartan, Executive Director
Conn was raised in Eden Prairie and graduated from Eden Prairie High School (EPHS). He also served as principal of EPHS for fourteen years, having just retired last spring. During his tenure, Conn led the school through a time of increased academic achievement (AP performance, National Merit Scholars, and ACT performance), college readiness (highest percentage of graduates enrolling and persisting in college of any Lake Conference School) and co-curricular success (more participation and state/national acclaim than any time in school history).
Conn has a demonstrated track record of connecting the Eden Prairie community, sharing the story of its schools, and leading efforts to support those schools. He served as lead spokesperson for the successful 2014 Eden Prairie Schools’ referendum and for numerous other community events including those sponsored by FEPS, the Community Foundation and the Eden Prairie Noon Rotary.
Conn and his wife Pam have two children, Alison and Ryan, both of whom are professional actors.
