EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (June 29, 2020) – The Foundation for Eden Prairie Schools’ Board of Directors (FEPS) today announced the selection of Dr. Lisa Sisinni to serve as the organization’s Executive Director.
The Board made this selection based on Lisa’s extensive experience and professional achievements. She holds degrees from the University of St. Thomas (Ed.D. in Educational Leadership), Metropolitan State University (Masters of Management and Administration), and Marquette University (Bachelor of Arts Degree). Professionally, Sisinni has worked in a variety of leadership roles for non-profit organizations over the last 25 years culminating in serving as President/Executive Director of the Eden Prairie Chamber of Commerce. Additionally, Sisinni has served as a member of the Eden Prairie Community Needs and Resources Council, Eden Prairie West Lions, and on the Board of Directors of the Hennepin County Private Industry Council.
“Lisa brings a depth of knowledge in nonprofit management and we are especially drawn to her steadfast commitment to the Eden Prairie community and the schools that make this community great,” said Suzanne Kutina, President of FEPS’ Board. “Lisa’s experience and education will be a phenomenal asset to the organization and will build off of the great momentum Conn McCartan has already put in place for us.”
“The opportunity to combine all of the things I am passionate about – education, nonprofit management, fundraising, community leadership, and having an impact on life-long learning, all right here in Eden Prairie – is amazing! FEPS is a very impressive organization, and I look forward to building on their successes and leading the organization into the future,” said Lisa Sisinni. Lisa has lived in Eden Prairie since 1991 with her husband, Anthony. They have 2 daughters, Prima (23), and Pilar (16), a junior at Eden Prairie High School.
The Board also extends its deep appreciation to Conn McCartan, who has served as Executive Director for the past two years. During his time as Executive Director, McCartan has continued to be an enthusiastic voice, advocate, and leader for the organization – enthusiasm that will not end after stepping down as executive director.
