Grants in Action: Wonder Workshop for Cedar Ridge 6th Graders

Thanks to a Staff & Teacher Grant from the Foundation for Eden Prairie Schools, 6th graders at Cedar Ridge used “Wonder Workshop” kits as part of their science/engineering curriculum.

They used iPads and small robots called “Ozobots” to code applications, play music, shoot balls into a hoop, and create their own unique challenges.

Through these tools, students applied problem solving, application design, algorithm design, and control flow.

Teacher Brent Bovitz, who applied for the grant, said, “Students are very excited. Thank you very much.”
