Thanks to a recent grant from FEPS, third graders at Oak Point are combining literacy with art. This collaborative program inspires students to reflect on what they read in an engaging, creative way.
Students say: “It’s magical! Your art takes you into the book and the book takes you into your art!”, “It’s inspiring because it’s different.”, and“It’s fun because you can think of the same things in two different places [art room and classroom].”
