Sarah Cheesman, Executive Director
Sarah started with the Foundation for Eden Prairie Schools in March 2015. She has worked in the nonprofit sector over 10 years, including PROP Food Shelf, ICA Food Shelf, Minnesota Valley Humane Society and Children’s Mental Health Collaborative. In addition, she has been an active volunteer in the community including the Board of Directors for Meals on Wheels, St. Andrew Lutheran Church, Eden Prairie Schools and as President of the Eden Prairie High School Booster Association.
She has her B.S. and M.B.A. from Central Michigan University. Sarah has lived in Eden Prairie with her husband Shawn over 20 years and they have one son, Matthew, an Eden Prairie High School graduate who is attending the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
Susan Paulus, Event Coordinator
Susan joined the Foundation for Eden Prairie Schools in September 2015 and is also a 10 year Eden Prairie Schools district employee. After moving from from North Carolina, she started working for the district as a greeter/security Oak Point, and then transferred to EPHS where she worked in the Health Office and is currently working as the receptionist at the front office.
Susan earned a BS in Health Education from the University of Dayton and added an Early Childhood certification from Augusta College. She taught 2nd, 4th and 5th grades in Augusta for over 5 years before moving to Raleigh, NC where she taught Health education classes.
In addition to working for the EP school district, she was very involved in various volunteering opportunities including CMS and EPHS PTO, Band Parent’s Organization, EPHS Charity Fund Drive rep, Taste of EP volunteer coordinator.
Susan has been married to her husband Bill for over 26 years. Bill works as the Director for Facilities Management at the University of Minnesota. Susan and Bill enjoy traveling to Madison, WI to visit their son Brian, who is a senior at UW Madison and to Chicago to visit their daughter Sarah, who is a sophomore at Loyola University.
